9.7.2024: A Parit Buntar Hospital ambulance vehicle skidded into a ditch near the Kamunting Toll Plaza heading towards Taman Berkat, Kamunting, Perak early this morning.
The 8-person Fire Brigade from BBP Kamunting, led by PBK II Muhamad Nurmuizzuddin bin Ahmad Hamide, rushed to the scene of the incident with FRT machinery and an EMRS Unit vehicle upon receiving the call at 3.30 am.
There were 4 victims involved in the incident who were riding in the ambulance.
A man was removed from the vehicle with the help of members of the public.
Meanwhile, 3 other victims, an adult woman who suffered minor injuries and 2 men who suffered serious injuries, were all removed from the vehicle by the fire brigade.
All victims were taken to Taiping Hospital by EMRS Unit vehicle and MOH Ambulance vehicle for immediate treatment.
Once completed, the operation was completely ended at 4.20 am.
