Mission
Conducting professional research into Fire Science, Technology and Innovation to improve the efficiency of JBPM and the firefighting industry.
Objective
To produce firefighting research that is closely related to sustainable livelihoods.
Function
- Analyze data related to fire
- Study & research on the effectiveness of firefighting equipment/devices
- Research on new and effective firefighting tactics
- Studying & researching technical specifications of new firefighting equipment/hardware
- Conducting tests on the latest firefighting products/equipment
- Conducting fire extinguishing effectiveness studies for special fire risks
- Conducting studies & research on the effectiveness of disaster management involving CBRNE (Chemical, Biology, Radiology, Nuclear & Explosion)
- Analyzing data related to rescue
- Study & research on the effectiveness of rescue equipment/devices
- Research on new and effective rescue operation tactics
- Studying & researching technical specifications of new rescue equipment/hardware
- Conducting tests on the latest rescue products/equipment
- Conducting rescue effectiveness studies for industrial disasters & natural disasters
- Make studies & research on PKK building
- Research on human & environmental factors related to building fire safety
- Carrying out effectiveness tests & latest / new building PKK certification
- Study on building PKK standards/ specifications
- Make study and research proposals to be used and marketed in the country
- Conducting research on Fire Safety Science & Technology
- Coordinate Fire Safety industry research & development
- Study of human behaviour, fire science & environment during fires, industrial & natural disasters
- Studying & conducting behavioral research on emergency personnel in the implementation of extinguishing operations
- Conducting scientific studies on fire behaviour of building materials & its relevance to building fire safety
Customer Charter
Our commitment is to ensure that planning and research related to firefighting aspects are carried out professionally. With this, we promise:
- Issue a report within seven (7) days after completion of the research or study.
- Issue a product effectiveness analysis within seven (7) days after product description.
- Issuing departmental procurement specification reports and recommendations within seven (7) days after receiving technical data.
