YS PKPjB Jamri bin Masran, Director of the Sarawak State Fire and Rescue Department, attended a special meeting for State-level disaster management which was chaired by YB Datuk Amar Douglas Uggah Embas.

Y.S. The director has announced the sending of additional personnel and relief assets to Bintulu to assist the existing rescue team in Bintulu. Freezing and withdrawing personnel leave has also been implemented to ensure full preparedness to deal with the flood disaster in Sarawak.

Also present at the special meeting was PgKB I Alimaddia bin Bukri, Assistant Director of the Sarawak Fire and Rescue Operations Division.
