SHAH ALAM, 15.4.2023: YB Tuan Nga Kor Ming, Minister of Local Government Development, has completed the Launching Ceremony of the Emergency Medical Air Ambulance Rescue Services (EMARS) Helicopter and the 2023 Malaysian Fire and Rescue Department (JBPM) Festive Season Safety Campaign. Also graced the event was the presence of YB Dr. Zaliha binti Mustafa, Minister of Health Malaysia and YBhg. Datuk M Noor Azman bin Taib, Secretary-General, Ministry of Local Government Development. The presence of the guests of honor was welcomed by YAS Dato' Abdul Wahab bin Hj. Mat Yasin, Director-General of JBPM and the Top Management of JBPM and KPKT. Also present to enliven the event were all State JBPM Directors, the Commander of the Malaysian Fire and Rescue Academy and Air Base Commanders as well as agencies and invited guests.
Various interesting activities were held in conjunction with the safety campaign, including a firefighting exhibition, a 3K Club coloring program, the distribution of bubur lambuk, an exhibition and Fire Helicopter show, and not forgetting the distribution of Raya cookies to all Fire Directors.
As a symbolic sign of the festive season campaign, YB Tuan Nga Kor Ming conducted a farewell session for the JBPM 'Festive Season Preparedness' team who will be on duty this festive season.
