14 September 2023 – THURSDAY: Perak State JBPM Director, YS PKPjB Sayani binti Haji Saidon attended the Pos Dipang History Storytelling Ceremony: Tragedy of 29 August 1996 which was officiated by the Exco of Human Resources, Health, Indian Community Affairs and Integration of Perak, A Sivanesan at the Dewan Arkib Negara Malaysia, Perak State, Meru Raya today. Also present were the Deputy Director General of the Planning and Management Sector of the National Archives of Malaysia, Tuan Zaidin Mohd Noor and the Director of ANM State, Perak State, Puan Shahida binti Mohamad Salleh. This story tells the story of the mudslide tragedy that occurred in Pos Dipang, 27 years ago. The Head of the Simpang Pulai BBP Station, PKPgB Haji Shaharuddin bin Tuan Ali who was involved during the tragedy that occurred, was invited to be one of the panel members at the ceremony.
