LAUNCH CEREMONY OF THE MALAYSIAN FIRE AND RESCUE DEPARTMENT OF MELAKA STATE AS ACeIO INTEGRITY PARTNER

30 June 2022 | 01 Zulhijjah 1443H LAUNCHING CEREMONY OF THE FIRE AND RESCUE DEPARTMENT OF MALAYSIA, MELAKA STATE AS AN INTEGRITY PARTNER OF ACeIO Held at the Dato' Sri Mohammad Hamdan Hall, the Headquarters of the Fire and Rescue Department of Malaysia (JBPM) of Melaka State, the Launching Ceremony of the JBPM of Melaka State as an Integrity Partner of the Association of Certified Integrity Officers (ACeIO) was held. The launch was officiated by YBhg. Dato' Junipah binti Wahid, Deputy Chief Commissioner (Management & Professionalism) Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) and the Chairman of the Standing Committee of the Certified Integrity Officer (CeIO) Program.

Also present was YBrs. Tuan Ahmad Sabri bin Mohamed, President of the Association of Certified Integrity Officers (ACeIO) together with Integrity Partners, namely the Association of Chief Integrity Partners (ACeIO) of Johor State and the Coordinator of the Johor State Integrity Champions. Representatives from MACC, namely the Directors of Divisions, States and Academy as well as representatives from JBPM, namely the Head of the JBPM Integrity Unit, the Commandant of the Malaysian Fire and Rescue Academy (ABPM) Northern Region, the Deputy Director of JBPM of Negeri Sembilan, senior officers and members from JBPM of Negeri Sembilan, Johor and Melaka in particular, were also present to enliven this event. The summit of the event was held with the presentation of the Certificate of Recognition of JBPM of Melaka State as an ACeIO Integrity Partner by YBhg. Dato' Junipah binti Wahid, Deputy Chief Commissioner (Management & Professionalism) of the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) and Chairman of the Standing Committee of the Certified Integrity Officer (CeIO) Program to YS PPjB Abu Bakar Bin Katain, Director of the Melaka State Fire and Rescue Department, witnessed by YBrs. Tuan Ahmad Sabri bin Mohamed, President of the Association of Certified Integrity Officers (ACeIO).

The symbolic gimmick of the launch was completed by the Melaka State JBPM Drone Unit. Hopefully, this recognition can further enhance the culture of integrity at all levels of JBPM officers and members, especially in the state of Melaka. It is hoped that this cooperative relationship can be maintained and continued for mutual benefit.
