KUALA LUMPUR: The floods that hit five states have involved more than 25,000 displaced victims, with Terengganu having the highest number, at 13,045 victims.
Flood victims nationwide have been placed in 287 temporary evacuation centres (PPS) as of this morning.
The most PPSs were opened in Terengganu, which is 190, Kelantan (91), Johor (3), Perak (2) and Pahang (1).
This is based on information updated on the website infobencanajkmv2.jkm.gov.my as of 10.40 this morning.
A total of 25,215 victims involved 7,378 families at the PPS.
Terengganu has the highest number of victims, recording 13,045, followed by Kelantan (12,006), Johor (75), Perak (49) and Pahang (40).
