BATANG KALI: Entering the fourth day, the search and rescue (SAR) operation for nine more victims missing in the landslide tragedy at the Fathers' Organic Farm campsite, Gohtong Jaya here continues today.

Selangor Fire and Rescue Department Director Datuk Norazam Khamis, when contacted by Bernama, said his department would focus on Sector A (Hillview) and Sector C (Riverside) as well as surrounding areas that have not been excavated.

Six detection unit dogs (K9) were also brought into the search area at 8.30am this morning, in cloudy weather this morning.

Yesterday the operation was postponed at approximately 9.30pm due to bad weather conditions.

So far, 24 victims have been confirmed dead and 61 have survived out of a total of 94 victims. – BERNAMA
