FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS - TRAINING SECTION

1. The Malaysian Fire and Rescue Department (JBPM) through 5 Malaysian Fire and Rescue Academies (ABPM) throughout Malaysia organizes courses for public and private agencies where Fire and Rescue Training is an ongoing and comprehensive program for fire officers, the community and industry based on regulations and laws in an effort to achieve a comprehensive Fire Safety concept.
 
2. For course applications, the agency involved must submit a letter of application to attend the relevant course to the relevant Commandant of the Fire and Rescue Academy (ABPM). Subsequently, a letter of response to attend the course from the Commandant of the Fire and Rescue Academy (ABPM) will be submitted to the applying agency. Any information related to the course can be found on the Malaysian Fire and Rescue Academy website www.fram.bomba.gov.my.

The courses offered are such as Fire Safety Courses, Fire Certification, Fire Safety Installation in Buildings (Active Systems & Passive Systems), Fire Hazard Elimination, Fire Services Act 1988-ACT 341 and Emergency Response Team (ERT).

2. For course applications, the agency involved must submit a letter of application to attend the relevant course to the relevant Commandant of the Fire and Rescue Academy (ABPM). Subsequently, a letter of response to attend the course from the Commandant of the Fire and Rescue Academy (ABPM) will be submitted to the applying agency.
