- The JBPM flag is divided into 2 parts, 3 red squares with the department logo, yellow and blue stripes in one of the other 3 squares.
- The color red symbolizes the high spirit of courage among firefighters in carrying out firefighting and rescue operations for the nation and country.
- The 15 yellow and blue stripes mean there are 15 state fire and rescue departments.
- The yellow stripe symbolizes the department offering quality services (a golden service) to customers and stakeholders towards world-class services and reflects loyalty to the King and Country.
- The blue stripe symbolizes water used as a fire extinguishing medium and emphasizes environmental cleanliness during emergency operations.
LOGO
- At the top of the JBPM logo, there is a crescent moon and star shape which signifies that Islamic values and noble values are incorporated into the department's work culture.
- The helmet and crossed axes represent safety for department personnel who provide professional services.
- Three rice flowers arranged in nine layers in two circles symbolize the nine Kingdoms, the department's power to implement the Fire Services Act 1988 and also the country's prosperity.
- The 'clove' rope symbolizes the department carrying out rescue work.
- The red color symbolizes a high spirit of courage, while the yellow color symbolizes the department offering quality services (a golden service) to the community.
