12 October 2022 (Tuesday) – Selangor State Fire and Rescue Department held the Selangor State Fire and Rescue Department's Preparedness Launch for the 2022/2023 Northeast Monsoon (MTL) which was officiated by YAB Dato' Seri Amirudin bin Shari, Dato' Menteri Besar of Selangor at BBP Shah Alam. Also present was YB Dato' Haji Haris bin Kasim, Selangor State Secretary and Selangor State District Officers to enliven the launch. The ceremony also held the presentation of Community Fire Vests and a briefing on Selangor State Fire and Rescue Department's preparedness for the MTL.
