Ipoh, 30 May 2025 – Perak State Fire and Rescue Department has organized Suicide Intervention Workshop and Self-Management of Mental Well-being located at the Premier Hall Dato' Sri Ts. Mohammad Hamdan, Perak JBPM Headquarters.

This program provides exposure to fire officers, frontline workers and family members on the importance of mental health and early intervention in high-risk cases.

Mental health issues need to be addressed openly and with empathy, as emotional distress can affect anyone. It is hoped that this workshop will strengthen the ability of JBPM members to maintain their own and the community's mental well-being.
