Senior Officers Week Program

This Senior Officers Week program was organized by the Fire Investigation Division with a Friday Morning Lecture entitled “8 Advantages of Giving Charity Mentioned in the Quran and Hadith”. The lecture was delivered by Assistant Fire Chief Mohd Azmi bin Daud.

Among the main contents of the tazkirah are the eight advantages of giving charity as follows:

-Wealth will not decrease due to giving charity.

-Giving charity promises multiplied rewards.

-Charity is proof of faith in Allah SWT.

-Giving charity helps to erase sins.

-A special gate to heaven is prepared for people who give charity.

-Charity is a shelter in the hereafter.

-Charity is a cure or medicine for illness.

-Charity keeps you away from hellfire.

The practice of giving charity is one of the most noble acts of worship. As the old proverb says:

"It is normal for people with wealth to give in charity, but it is extraordinary for people without wealth to give in charity."

Therefore, let's not wait until we become rich to give alms. Start giving alms now, because by giving alms, Allah SWT will increase our sustenance and make all our affairs easier.

The Director of the Negeri Sembilan Fire and Rescue Department, Assistant Fire Commissioner Nor Ariffin bin Kamari. Assistant Directors, Branch Heads, and senior officers of the Negeri Sembilan Fire and Rescue Department.

Hopefully all the knowledge and reminders conveyed through this tazkirah can be used as a lesson and guide in our daily lives. The practice of giving charity not only brings benefits to others, but also provides great rewards to the doer in this world and the hereafter.
